FAQ's

Arrival Times:

We do ask that you arrive on time for scheduling reasons we must start on time. Late arrival will result in missing the introduction and you may not be permitted to take part.

Weather Policy:

Our tours go ahead rain or shine, and there are plenty of stops along the way to take shelter if needed, so appropriate dress is necessary.  Obviously if the weather is very severe, then the tour will be rescheduled and you will be contacted to make those arrangements.

Waiver:

A compulsory waiver is available for you to download here.  All waivers must be completed prior to taking the tour. We are fully insured and this is a requirement of our insurance company. Participants under 18 must have a parent or supervising adult present to sign for them. Helmets are required and can be supplied if needed.  All participants must be able to ride a bike.

Is it suitable for pregnant women?

Unfortunately, for safety reasons, pregnant women are not allowed to participate on our tours.

Can I get a Refund if I decide not to take the tour?

Due to advance planning and our tour guides scheduling requirements, no refunds can be given, however in certain circumstances, if we are given 7 days notice we are happy to reschedule your tour.

All riders must be at least 10 years of age to participate in the tour. Riders 10 - 17 years must have a parent present to sign a waiver and take the tour with them.

Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?

We highly recommend you purchase your tickets in advance to guarantee the date, time and tour you want. Bookings can be made online. Our tours are limited by size so we recommend booking as far in advance as you can.

Are restrooms available?

Yes, restrooms are available at the meeting location. Unfortunately, we will not be able to make additional restroom stops during the tour, as our time is limited and we want you to visit as many landmarks as possible.

Are cameras allowed on the tour?

Yes, cameras are allowed on the tour and we actively encourage you to take photographs of the wonderful scenery of the area. We ask that you do not take photos while cycling as this would be dangerous. We will give you lots of opportunities to take photos.

Can I buy food/drink or souvenirs along the way?

Our tour is structured so that we can visit many landmarks in the allotted time. This leaves very little time for any other stops. Dun Laoghaire has some wonderful restaurants and gift shops and we recommend you give yourself some time before or after the tour for dining and shopping.

Are the tours conducted in English only?

Yes, the tours are only conducted in English. However, our non-English speaking guests will still enjoy the experience.
